For almost forty years, Sperr’s Fuel and Heating has worked hard to bring you and your family very reasonable prices on fuel oil and HVAC services. We are committed to continuing to do so.
But as you have seen, fuel prices (at the gas pump and in your home tank) have increased significantly, and are likely to continue to increase. Likewise, our small business’ monthly expenses (from rents and insurances, to fuel for our trucks and repair bills) have also increased.
Controlling our costs helps us offer a fair price to you.
Therefore, we’re making some small changes to the way we deliver oil.
We’re scheduling deliveries Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to route our trucks in a more efficient way. This maximizes our small workforce and helps avoid costly return trips to areas where we have already delivered in the same week.
To ensure your deliveries come at the right time, we recommend you:
- Call earlier for fuel delivery if you monitor your own tank. We recommend calling when your tank is between ¼ to ½ to ensure we can schedule you on our route. Calls received on Thursday and Friday will be routed for the following week.
- Avoid delays, sign up for automatic delivery. Our automatic delivery program is the best way to ensure you have the fuel oil you need, regardless of route delays, ice and snow conditions, and sudden price increases.
